The lake is surrounded by over 5,000 wooded acres of forest, but that doesn’t mean you’re alone in the woods. Lake Toxaway partners with Allied Security to maintain a safe and secure environment for our residents 24/7.

The Lake Toxaway Community Association is proud to maintain the lake, 30 miles of private roadways within the Lake Toxaway Estates, and several recreational amenities. It’s our mission to keep the lake area safe and operational so that everyone can enjoy it.
We also provide mobile security monitoring services, to ensure everyone’s safety no matter where they are.

Our community guidelines support the natural environment and an eco-friendly lifestyle. We work to protect the natural surroundings around us and keep them healthy and beautiful for generations to come.
When you live in nature, you’ll get the chance to spot a variety of wildlife. Being a responsible animal neighbor includes taking photos of your favorite waterbirds, but also securing your food to keep black bears wild.

The Lake Toxaway Community Association is a nonprofit North Carolina corporation organized specifically for the residents of Lake Toxaway Estates. With over 1,127 residential lots, the LTCA maintains the lake, 30 miles of private roadways within the estates, and several recreational amenities.

If you’re passionate about drier activities, you can enjoy hikes suitable for all levels, forest walks, waterfall lookouts, biking trails, and horseback riding paths. We also host the Greystone Inn and the Lake Toxaway Country Club, which are perfect for taking a break from the weather to enjoy the warmth of a community center.
